What to Expect at Young Authors’ Faire

• All current Young Authors’ Faire books, poems, and narratives will be displayed.
• Students chosen as exemplary young authors will be announced at the event in the following categories:
  • Elementary Individual Fiction (K-6)
  • Elementary Individual Non-Fiction (K-6)
  • Elementary Class Book (K-6)
  • Upper Grade Poem  (7-12)
  • Upper Grade Narrative (7-12)
  • Individual Illustrator (K-8)
  • Class Book Illustrator (K-8)
  • Health and Wellness (K-6)
  • Health and Wellness (7-12)
  • The Foundation at FCOE Honors
• Carnival-themed literacy stations and fun for the whole family.
• Every student participating in the Fresno County Young Authors’ Faire will earn a certificate of award

Venue

Young Authors' Faire is held in the Junior Exhibit Hall adjacent to the Butler Street entrance to the Fresno Fairgrounds. Parking is available in the lot on Butler Street and attendees can enter through the fair gates across the street from the parking lot.
