Young Authors' Faire

The FCSS Young Authors’ Faire is open to all K-12 students in Fresno County. The
event aims to celebrate student work and showcase original books by local young
authors/illustrators. All books or poems/narratives submitted will be on display at
the Fresno County Young Authors' Faire and will receive a gold embossed seal to
recognize achievement and participation. Attendees can browse student work and
enjoy the literacy booths. FCSS honors exemplary in the following categories:
Illustration, (K-8), Class Book (K-5), Individual fiction, and non-fiction (K-5), Middle
School poem or narrative (6-8), and a new Health and Wellness Category (K-12).
